Qarabağ's qualification for the Champions League group stage has brought additional points to Azerbaijan in the UEFA rankings. According to Sport24.az, despite losing to Ferencváros in the return leg of the play-off round (2:3, first leg - 3:1), Qarabağ added an additional 1500 points to the country's assets by reaching the main stage of the tournament.
Thus, Azerbaijan has 21,000 points, and with this result, our country has risen two places in the ranking, surpassing Slovenia (20,468) and Ukraine (19,850), rising from 28th to 26th place. Slovakia is one place higher (21,375). It should be noted that Azerbaijan started the European season with 17,125 points.
