England's "Liverpool" club has suffered a serious loss.
Idman.bi reports that Giovanni Leoni, who was transferred from Parma for 35 million euros in the club's summer transfer window, has been injured.
Thus, the 18-year-old player's cruciate ligaments are torn. For this reason, Leoni will have to stay out of the field for several months.
Leoni suffered the injury in the English League Cup match against Southampton (2:1). This was his debut game for the club.
"Liverpool" is the opponent of "Qarabag" club in the general stage of the UEFA Champions League. The teams will meet in England on January 28, 2016.
