"Qarabağ's" opponent in the UEFA Champions League main stage, "Benfica" (Portugal), has announced its new transfer.
"Report" informs that the club's press service has released information about this.
An agreement has been signed with 18-year-old midfielder Federico Coletta until 2028. The footballer, who is a member of the Italian U-19 national team, was transferred from "Roma" and will play for "Benfica's" B team.
In the 2024/2025 season, he scored 14 goals in 38 matches he played for "Roma's" U-20 team. He has been the winner of the Italian youth championship twice (2022/2023 and 2023/2024).
It should be noted that F. Coletta also holds the title of European champion among football players under 17 years old. He scored 1 goal in the final of the tournament held in 2024, in the match where Italy won 3:0 over Portugal.
