Germany's "Eintracht" (Frankfurt) club, one of "Qarabagh"'s opponents in the main stage of the UEFA Champions League, has been fined. According to Sport24.az, UEFA has imposed a fine of 49,250 euros on the Bundesliga representative.
The Frankfurt team suffered losses due to the events in the match against "Galatasaray" in the continent's number one club tournament.
The club will pay 22,000 euros for the closure of public passages, 12,250 euros for the fireworks set off by the fans, and 15,000 euros for transmitting a message inappropriate for a sports event.
It should be noted that the match ended with a 5:1 victory for the German team. "Qarabagh" will face "Eintracht" in Baku on January 21, 2026.
