The "Qarabagh" football team got acquainted with the construction process of the "Imarat" stadium being built in Aghdam during their visit to Shusha.
Idman.biz reports that a 19.2-hectare area has been allocated for the arena, which is being built within the framework of the I State Program on the Great Return to the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The "Imarat" stadium is being built in accordance with UEFA's Category IV requirements. The stadium will have a field with natural grass cover, and the stands are designed for a capacity of 11,700 spectators.
According to UEFA requirements, VVIP and VIP "lounge" zones, a conference hall, meeting rooms, referee rooms, changing rooms for teams, media rooms, a museum, commentator rooms, administrative and auxiliary rooms will be built in the arena. An additional training ground, running track, parking lots, checkpoints, a technical building and other structures are also planned on the stadium grounds.
City residents will also be able to use the stadium area as a park and entertainment area. For this purpose, it is planned to open a fitness hall, cafe, restaurant and shops in the stadium.
Modern monitors, control systems, entrance-exit, sound, lighting and communication systems will be installed in the stadium. It will be possible to hold both local and international competitions here.
