"The players showed a great game." Sport24.az reports that these words were said by the president of "Qarabagh" club, Tahir Gozel, in his statement to journalists about their promotion to the play-off stage of the UEFA Champions League.
He stated that he was proud of his team: "We played great both away and in Baku. We have a very good team. The victory over "Shkendija" was a victory for the whole of Azerbaijan. I hope that we will qualify for the League stage and host famous clubs like "Liverpool" and PSG here."
It should be noted that "Qarabagh" defeated "Shkendija" with a score of 6:1 based on the results of two games and qualified for the play-off.
