Idman.Biz reports that in the return match of the 1/16 final stage held in England on February 24, the Aghdam representative lost to "Newcastle" 2:3 away.
The goals conceded in this match were the 28th, 29th and 30th for "Qarabag" in the current season. Thus, the Azerbaijani club set an anti-record as the team that conceded the most goals in a single season in the Champions League. The previous worst record was 28 goals.
It should be noted that approximately one-third of the conceded goals occurred in matches against "Newcastle". In the first match, "Qarabag" was defeated 1:6. The overall result of the two meetings was 3:9.
