"Qarabag" lost to "Sabah" in the final of the Azerbaijan Cup due to their own mistakes.
This was stated to "Report" by Aghdam representative Bahlul Mustafazade.
He said that if they had played more responsibly in the final moments of the match, the result could have been different:
"The fans witnessed an interesting match. Unfortunately, while we were so close to making a "golden double", we missed our chance. We need to learn from such a painful defeat."
He emphasized that the chief referee of the match, Inqilab Mammadov, showed sympathy for the opposing team in certain episodes:
"Frankly, I haven't watched the replays of the episodes. However, in certain episodes, it was noticeable that the referee sympathized with the opponent. However, we do not want to overshadow Sabah's victory. But I think there could have been better refereeing."
It should be noted that "Sabah" defeated their opponent with a score of 3:2 in extra time.
