"Qarabag" midfielder Pedro Bicallo has been removed from the transfer plans of Brazilian club Botafogo for the 2026 season, and a possible transfer of the player has been abandoned.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to ESPN Brasil that although the 23-year-old football player was on a wide list of candidates to strengthen the squad, his name was removed from the list of priority targets after discussions within the club.
According to the source, along with Bicallo, Julio Romao, the midfielder of the Hungarian club Ferencvaros, and Gleyker Mendoza, the football player of the Venezuelan national team and Angostura club, were also removed from Botafogo's shortlist.
It should be noted that Pedro Bicallo is a graduate of the Cruzeiro and Palmeiras academies, and started his professional career at Palmeiras. He later played for the Portuguese clubs Santa Clara and Alverca, and this summer he was transferred to Qarabag.
