Another match of "Qarabag" in the Misli Premier League may be postponed.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to futbolinfo.az that the Aghdam representative wants its 21st round match to be postponed due to participation in the UEFA Champions League (CL).
The issue is that the national champion will play historic matches against the English club "Newcastle" on February 18 and 24 in the Champions League play-off stage. Between February 20-22, the team should play a championship match against its arch-rival "Neftchi".
Considering that there will be two difficult matches against "Newcastle" in 6 days, "Qarabag" will ask the PFL to postpone the championship match. However, this situation has already caused dissatisfaction on the "Neftchi" side. Baku residents are in favor of the game taking place in order not to lose pace. In particular, "Neftchi" fans are putting pressure on the club management not to agree to the postponement.
