Today, the group stage kicks off in the UEFA Champions League. Sport24.az reports that after 8 years, an Azerbaijani representative will compete in this round of the prestigious tournament.
Like in 2017, "Qarabag", among the giants of Europe, will be a guest of "Benfica" in Lisbon today.
The starting whistle of the match will sound at 23:00 Baku time.
It should be noted that "Qarabag" will play 8 matches in the main stage of the Champions League, 4 of which will be at home and 4 away. The "White Horses" will face "Athletic" (Spain), "Napoli" (Italy) and "Liverpool" (England) away.
