"Qarabağ" goalkeeper Fabian Buntić is considering leaving the club.
İdman.biz reports with reference to sport24.az that the reason for this is the fact that the 28-year-old goalkeeper has had few opportunities to play this season.
He participated in only one match in the 2025/2026 season. Buntić played 90 minutes in the first leg of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, in which they defeated "Shelbourne" in Ireland (3:0). Interestingly, after that, in the return match in Baku, Polish Mateusz Kochalski started in the "starting 11" and became almost the indispensable goalkeeper of the "stallions".
The other goalkeeper of "Qarabağ", a member of the Azerbaijani national team, Shahrudin Mahammadaliyev, has appeared in only two official matches this season.
Note that Fabian Buntić was recruited from the Portuguese club "Vizela" in 2024.
