UEFA has imposed a disciplinary sanction on "Qarabag" after the Champions League match with "Eintracht Frankfurt".
Idman.Biz reports that after a 3-2 victory, the team advanced to the playoff stage of the tournament, but the disciplinary committee fined the club 17,500 euros for conveying a message inappropriate for a sports event and damaging the reputation of football and UEFA.
"Qarabag" is also accused of violating ticket control regulations. The club received a warning for this violation, but no financial penalty was imposed.
It is worth recalling that the Azerbaijani team lost to "Newcastle" 6-1 in Baku in the first leg of the Champions League play-off stage.
