"Qarabag" is close to bringing back its former footballer Owusu Kwabena, who left Hungarian club "Ferencvaros", to the team.
Idman.biz reports, citing Telegraf, that the Aghdam representative is negotiating to attract the Ghanaian striker, who left the club in June 2022, as a free agent.
It is reported that the negotiations, which started a few days ago, have already resulted in an agreement on the contract. According to the agreement, Kwabena will sign a two-year contract.
The center forward played for the Turkish club "Ankaragucu" on loan last season. He scored 9 goals in 16 matches he participated in.
Owusu Kwabena was a "Qarabag" player in 2020-2023. "Transfermarkt" estimates his market value at 400,000 euros.
It should be noted that "Qarabag" and "Ferencvaros" will face each other in the play-off stage of the UEFA Champions League. The first match will be held on August 19 in Budapest, and the second match will be held on August 27 in Baku.
