"Qarabag" has added another football player to its squad for the new season. Sport24.az reports that the long-lasting negotiations with Zagreb's "Dinamo" club have been successfully concluded.
The football player will wear the uniform on loan at the Azerbaijan club.
The loan agreement is for 1 year. The defender will play in "Qarabag" with the number 3 uniform.
Sami, who started his professional career in 2014 at the Belgian club "Standard", wore the uniform of the Dutch representative "Maastricht" on loan in 2017-18. The defender, who played for the Belgian "Sent-Truden" in 2018-21 and the Hungarian "Ferencvaros" in 2021-24, moved to "Dinamo" last year. Sami, who wore the uniform in the Belgian U-19 and U-21 national teams, played 10 matches in the Moroccan national team, where he debuted in 2020. He played 90 minutes in both matches against "Qarabag" in the play-off of the 2024/25 season of the Champions League as part of "Dinamo".
It should be noted that "Qarabag" has previously transferred three more football players - Brazilians Dani Bolt and Pedro Bicallo, and Chris Kouakou from Ivory Coast.
