UEFA's country rankings have been updated following the first week of European cup matches. According to Sport24.az, Azerbaijan's coefficient earned this season has reached 0.500.
This was made possible thanks to "Zira" drawing (1:1) at home with Croatia's "Hajduk" in the Conference League, and "Qarabag" defeating "Shelbourne" in Ireland with three unanswered goals. The victory of the Aghdam representative brought 0.250 points, and the "eagles"' draw brought 0.125 points to the country's assets.
Azerbaijan is currently ranked 29th with a coefficient of 17.625. Ukraine is 28th with 18.225, and Bulgaria is 30th with 16.625.
