The "Araz-Nakhchivan" team can achieve even greater success with the support of fans in Nakhchivan.
This was stated by "Araz-Nakhchivan" football player Qara Garayev in his statement to the local bureau of "Report".
The 32-year-old midfielder evaluated the team's trip to Nakhchivan:
"I have played at the Nakhchivan stadium before, I even played in the final match. We really like the atmosphere here. The initiative of the management of the "Araz-Nakhchivan" club was especially important in our coming here. We have been playing in Baku for a year and a half now, and we have been deprived of the love of local fans. There is indeed great interest in football here. 'Araz-Nakhchivan' must return to Nakhchivan to give them this love and joy. The sound of goals and victories should be heard here every week."
Qara Garayev emphasized the importance of fan support:
"One of the main factors in football is fan support. We cannot fully receive this support in the games we play in Baku. I think that by playing in Nakhchivan we can fully show our strength. We can achieve greater success with the support of fans. Playing in this stadium would be a great motivation, especially for football players. We play football for the fans. When we see the stands full, we become more enthusiastic and take our work more seriously. It is very important for 'Araz-Nakhchivan' that fans come to the stadium and support the team. I hope we will feel this support soon."
It should be noted that the staff of "Araz-Nakhchivan" Professional Football Club, which holds its home games in Baku in the Misli Premier League, visited Nakhchivan.
