The Greek club "Aris", which is the opponent of "Araz-Nakhchivan" in the II stage of the UEFA Conference League, is not a desirable opponent for the team.
"Report" reports that this was stated by the Nakhchivan representative's midfielder Gara Garayev in a statement to the club's press service.
He emphasized that each of the potential opponents is strong:
"The Greek club is not a desirable opponent for us. But we don't choose the opponent, the draw determines it. We have little information about "Aris". The coaching staff will give us complete, comprehensive information. We have enough time for this. Now we must focus on our team, our preparation. We must quickly restore the technical and physical aspects of the team and return to our game system."
The experienced football player said that they have a good team:
We understand the responsibility of the UEFA Conference League games, we understand what the fans and the football community want from us. We have a good team. During the off-season, the core of the team that brought us success last year was preserved, there are also new transfers and this work continues. We are able to fight against any opponent with discipline and determination. Our coaches will analyze the opponent in time and provide the necessary information."
It should be noted that the matches of the II qualifying stage of the UEFA Conference League will be held on July 24 and 31. "Araz-Nakhchivan" will play the first match at home and the return match away.
