PSV from the Netherlands is considering Spartak Moscow striker Manfred Ugalde as a potential replacement for Ricardo Pepi, who is heading to Fulham.
İdman.Biz reports this with reference to De Telegraaf.
At the end of January, the Eindhoven club had already tried to rent the Costa Rican football player, but was refused by their Russian colleagues, and Pepi's sale was postponed. However, Pepi went to London for a medical examination at Fulham. If successful, the striker will gain the right to sign a contract with the Premier League club on July 1. Therefore, PSV is considering Ugalde again.
However, a deal with Spartak is not easy for PSV, as the Moscow club wants about 20 million euros for Ugalde. This is higher than PSV's current transfer record of 18.5 million euros for Ruben van Bommel.
According to the source, the Eindhoven club is also considering Mika Bieret from Monaco and Alvaro Rodriguez from Elche.
