PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov is out of action. Sport24.az reports that the Russian goalkeeper was injured in the Intercontinental Cup final match against Flamengo.
The club's press service reported this.
Safonov, who played a major role in his team's victory in the cup by saving 4 penalties, broke his radius bone. The 26-year-old "glove holder" will be out of the green fields for 1 month.
It should be noted that PSG transferred Matvey Safonov from Krasnodar for 20 million euros in the summer of 2024. The Russian national team member has appeared in 4 official matches for the Paris team this season.
