French club PSG has taken first place in the ranking of the best men's football teams in the world by defeating Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the interclub world championship.
Lent.az reports that, according to the Opta analytical portal, the current winner of the UEFA Champions League has surpassed Liverpool, the best team in the 2025 Premier League, which had dominated this spot until July 10.
The Parisians currently have 100 points. The list of the 10 strongest clubs in the world also includes: "Liverpool" (99.27 points), "Arsenal" (98.79), "Manchester City" (97.98), "Barcelona" (96.89), "Real Madrid" (95.41), "Bayern Munich" (95.16), "Chelsea" (94.89), "Aston Villa" (94.79) and "Newcastle" (94.79).
Opta experts note that PSG will sit on this throne for a long time and the result with Chelsea in the final match of the 2025 World Cup will not have a special impact on the ranking.
As you know, the meeting for the title of the best football team in the world will take place on the night of July 14.
