PSG (France), which defeated Inter (Italy) in the UEFA Champions League final, has received a record amount of prize money.
According to Report, citing the "Football Meets Data" publication, the capital club earned 10.5 million as the winner of the continent's most prestigious club tournament, 6.5 million for winning the final, and 4 million euros for qualifying for the UEFA Super Cup.
The Paris club's total earnings for the season amounted to 148.4 million euros. This is a record figure in the history of UEFA prize money.
It should be noted that PSG defeated Inter 5:0 in the final yesterday to become the UEFA Champions League winner for the first time in its history.
