The VI round of the Misli Premier League was marked by Prince Owusu's early red card. Sport24.az reports that the "Gabala" player left his team with one less player in the 1st minute of the away game against "Qarabag".
Thus, Prince set an anti-record for the period when the Premier League was held under the PFL flag. Since the summer of 2008, no football player had received such an early red card.
Until then, the 17-year anti-record belonged to Dedimar Ferreira. The "Kapaz" player "distinguished himself" in the 2017/18 season. He left his team with one less player in the 5th minute of the home match against "Sabail" (2:3) on November 18, 2017.
Zira's football player Milan Duric received a red card in the 9th minute in the 2017/18 season, and Turan Tovuz player Faig Hajiyev in the 2023/24 season. Both players were penalized in the match against Kapaz.
It should be noted that Gabala lost to Qarabag 0:2 in the away match.
