"Benfica" footballer Gianluca Prestianni will not participate in the return leg of the UEFA Champions League play-off stage against "Real". Sport24.az reports that UEFA has made this decision.
The Argentinian winger is accused of racism against opposing player Vinicius Junior in the first match held in Portugal. As the investigation into the matter continues, the highest football body has temporarily imposed a 1-game ban on the 20-year-old footballer.
Vinicius claims that Prestianni called him a monkey in the Lisbon match. The "Benfica" player denies this.
It should be noted that the "Real" - "Benfica" match will start on the night of February 25 to 26 at 00:00 Baku time. The first game between the teams ended with a 1:0 victory for the Spanish club.
