"Barcelona" management has informed the agent of head coach Hans-Dieter Flick about their desire to extend his contract with the club for another season, until June 2028.

According to the source, the German coach prefers to wait for the results of the "Barcelona" presidential elections, which will be held in 2026. Flick has established a good relationship with the current "Blaugrana" president, Joan Laporta, and therefore does not want to make a decision about extending his employment contract without knowing Laporta's future at the club.
Flick has been in charge of "Blaugrana" since the summer of 2024. Under his leadership, the club won the Spanish League, the King's Cup, and the Spanish Super Cup.
