President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the establishment of the Organizing Committee for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup
An Organizing Committee has been established in connection with the holding of the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Azerbaijan. Sport24.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order in this regard. According to this document, Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov has been appointed Chairman of the Organizing Committee. The Minister of Youth and Sports became the Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee. It should be noted that at the FIFA meeting held on October 2 this year, a decision was made to hold the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
