Ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window, Transfermarkt has decided to remind us which Premier League club has earned the most from player sales in the last ten seasons.
Lent.az reports with reference to foreign media that London's "Chelsea" club is in first place with a difference of 500 million euros - 1.44 billion euros. The following places are occupied by "Manchester City" with 922 million euros and "Liverpool" with 690 million euros.
"Tottenham" sold players for 576 million euros, "Manchester United" for 545 million euros, and "Arsenal" for only 465 million euros.
The first two places should not be surprising, because both clubs have very good academies. In addition, the club system allows star players to be sold without causing serious damage to the teams, and to do so for a considerable amount of money.
