It should be noted that the innovation, which will replace the existing financial sustainability rules, will allow clubs to spend up to 85 percent of their revenue on squad-related expenses, including player salaries, transfer amortization, and agent fees. These indicators will be monitored every season. Fourteen of the Premier League's 20 clubs voted in favor of the new rules.
