The Portuguese national team defeated the Spanish national team in the final match of the UEFA Nations League.

The regular and extra time of the match ended in a 2:2 draw. Nuno Mendes (26th minute) and Cristiano Ronaldo (61) scored for the Portuguese national team. Martin Zubimendi (21) and Mikel Oyarzabal (45) scored for the Spanish national team. In the penalty shootout, the Portuguese defeated their opponents with a score of 5:3.
The Portuguese national team has won the UEFA Nations League for the second time. The team previously won the tournament in 2019.
