Five athletes representing Azerbaijan at the European Judo Cup among juniors held in Ganja have reached the final stage.
Idman.Biz reports that Farid Rzazade (50 kg), Ibrahim Talibov and Rza Khalili (both 55 kg), Ilkin Garayev (66 kg) and Fatima Farmanzade (48 kg) have won the right to participate in the decisive matches.
The battles for medals will be held in the second half of the day.
It should be noted that the European Cup will end on April 5.

The European Judo Cup among juniors has started in Ganja.
Idman.Biz reports that 269 judokas (180 boys, 89 girls) from 10 countries are participating in the international competition organized at the Ganja Sports Palace.
On the first day of the tournament, boys compete in the 50, 55, 60 and 66 kg, and girls in the 40, 44, 48 and 52 kg weight categories.
In the European Cup, judokas from Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Portugal, Tajikistan, Turkey and the United States of America, along with our country, are testing their strength in 16 weight categories. Azerbaijan, which is hosting a similar competition for the fourth time, is represented by 127 athletes in the tournament.
It should be noted that the European Cup organized at the Ganja Sports Palace will end on April 5.
