The Disciplinary Board of the Portuguese Football Federation has fined "Porto" 3190 euros for offensive chants against "Benfica" head coach Jose Mourinho.

According to the information, the decision noted that the fans' behavior violated the ban on "verbal insults of a discriminatory nature that degrade human dignity on the basis of gender, race or similar grounds."
The incident occurred on September 19 during the 6th round of the Portuguese championship, when "Porto" defeated "Rio Ave" with a score of 3:0. In the 86th minute, "Porto" fans began shouting insults at Mourinho.
On September 18, 62-year-old Jose Mourinho returned to Benfica after 25 years. He previously worked with Porto and won the Champions League and the UEFA Cup with this club.
