An incident during a football match in Malatya, Turkey, has gained great appreciation on social media.
İdman.Biz reports that a police officer on duty at the Third League match between "Yeşilyurtspor" and "12 Bingölspor" helped a young child who was freezing in the stands.
During the match played in cold weather, the police officer took off his own socks and put them on the child after noticing that the child's feet were freezing.
It should be noted that although the match ended with a 0:1 defeat for the home team, this humane act at the stadium attracted more attention than the result.
The incident has once again proven that football is not just about scores and results, sometimes the most valuable moments happen outside the field.
