Former PSG head coach Mauricio Pochettino spoke about the atmosphere surrounding Lionel Messi during the player's time at the French club.
Idman.biz reports that the former coach said that there was a very hostile atmosphere in France during Messi's time.
"He arrived without pre-season training, after a strong emotional shock. It wasn't easy. At least, it was painful for me to watch him, because the atmosphere was unfavorable for him - very aggressive. But I liked having such a player in my team," Pochettino said.
Pochettino coached PSG from January 2021 to July 2022. Messi played for the Paris team from 2021-2023.
