Players of "Neftchi" and "Sumgayit" participated in the same match at the Africa Cup of Nations

The matches of the 1st round of the Africa Cup of Nations are being held. Sport24.az reports that the national teams of Congo and Benin faced each other in Group B today. The match ended with a 1:0 victory for the former.

 

Two football players playing in the Azerbaijan Premier League also appeared on the field for the Benin national team. "Sumgayit" defender Abdul Rashid Mumini and "Neftchi" midfielder Sessi Dalmeida started the match in the starting lineup.

 

Mumini stayed on the field for 90 minutes. Dalmeida was replaced in the 82nd minute.
