Marseille's Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has spoken about his difficult period at Chelsea. The footballer gave an interview to the YouTube channel Tpoopz TV about this:
"Going there wasn't just a mistake, it was a big mistake. I was having a difficult time at Barcelona at the time. My house was robbed. Barcelona had to sell a player - me or Memphis Depay. My only choice was Chelsea. So I said, "Okay, I'll go for my family, even if it's Chelsea..." I thought maybe everything would be fine. Olivier Giroud moved from Arsenal to Chelsea and he had no problems, but for me everything was different.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang moved from Barcelona to Chelsea for 12 million euros in September 2022. Although he signed a two-year contract with the club, he transferred to Marseille for free a year later. The striker played 21 games for the London club, scoring three goals and one assist.
It should be noted that Aubameyang has played 14 games in all tournaments for Marseille this season, scoring 5 goals and making 4 assists.
