The Guba Olympic Sports Complex, where "Imishli", which won the right to compete in the Azerbaijan Premier League in the 2025/2026 season, wants to hold its home games, will be inspected by the PFL.
Idman.biz reports that this was stated by Agshin Mursalov, the executive director of the regional representative, in his statement to "Report".
He said that they have no other options yet: "We intended to play at the Guba Olympic Complex. But the stadium has not yet been inspected by the Professional Football League. We have not decided what to do if it is unsuitable. We will play in whichever stadium is suitable and meets the requirements of the Premier League."
The club official also provided information about the latest situation of the stadium in Imishli: "Repair work has not yet started at the stadium in Imishli. There should be a lot of changes. The field and shooting areas must be put in order. The current stadium was built according to previous rules. I cannot say when the repairs will start. This is not a matter for us. We also want to return to our stadium as soon as possible. It is difficult to say anything now."
It should be noted that it was announced that "Turan Tovuz" will hold its home games at "Azersun Arena", "Kapaz" at Gabala city stadium, and "Karvan" at the stadium in Shamakhi.
