The Misli Premier League regulations do not stipulate a deadline for postponing a match.
Sanan Abdullayev, Media and Marketing Director of the Professional Football League (PFL), said this in response to a request from "Report".
According to the PFL official, it is possible to postpone matches, change the date, start time and venue in cases and in the manner provided for in the regulations:
"The regulations of the Azerbaijan Premier League, Azerbaijan Cup, Reserve League and I League competitions for the 2025/2026 season of the Professional Football League do not stipulate any deadline for postponing matches. Clause 2 of Article 6 of the regulations stipulates the provisions regarding changing the time and postponing matches: "A club participating in the 4th qualifying round (play-off) of the European Cups can apply for the postponement of the match once. In the play-off stages after the league stage, the club can apply for this once in each stage. In both cases, the opposing team must agree."
It should be noted that "Qarabağ" club has applied to PFL to postpone the match of the XXI round of Misli Premier League with "Neftçi". The Baku representative did not respond positively to the "bay horses"' offer.
