PFL: "Karvan-Yevlax"'s documents are in order, the logo issue is the club's own business;

All the documents required for the "Karvan-Yevlax" club's name and its participation in the Premier League are in order, and the logo issue is the club's own business.

Sanan Abdullayev, Media and Marketing Director of the Professional Football League (PFL), told "Report" about this.

He explained the reason why "Karvan-Yevlax", which is not the successor of "Karvan", still uses the old logo:

"This is not a matter within our authority. In fact, it is true that their logos are old and 2004 is marked on them. But we cannot ask them 'why are you using the old team's emblem?' Because all the documents required for their participation in the Premier League are in order. The logo issue is their own business. If they want, they can also put a picture of a lion or a tiger on their logo. This is according to their own wishes."

Bahruz Musayev, the head of the press service of the "Karvan-Yevlax" team, said the following about the current situation:

"To be honest, we get this question a lot as a club. But unfortunately, I will not be able to give a complete answer regarding the issue. We may be able to disclose the details of the logo issue in the near future."

It should be noted that "Karvan-Yevlax" finished the Azerbaijan I League last season in third place with 47 points and won the right to participate in the Premier League. The team has no connection with "Karvan", which was founded in Yevlakh in 2004 and was the first club in the history of Azerbaijani football to pass a stage in the UEFA Cup (2006/2007).
