Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has spoken about Rodri's future at the club. Sport24.az reports that the Spanish specialist made a statement to Sky Sports about this:
"I would very much like him to stay. Rodri is Rodri. Despite his age, he has become wiser and understands the game better.
There are players who stand out in big stages, in difficult situations. Like many players I have had in the past, like Berni, Ruben Dias, Rodri can take responsibility. Only great personalities can do this."
It should be noted that the midfielder's current contract with the club expires next summer.
