Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has made an interesting statement regarding the club's activity in the transfer market. Sport24.az reports that he said this in an interview with Sky Sports.
Speaking about transfer spending in recent years, the experienced specialist jokingly said he was "a little bit nervous." Guardiola reacted ironically to claims that the "Citizens" have spent large sums in the transfer market over the past five years. He stated that the published figures do not fully reflect the idea that the club is overspending.
It should be noted that although Manchester City strengthened their squad with several players in the January "transfer window", these changes did not fully affect the results on the field.
