A meeting of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee was held. Sport24.az reports that the following decisions were made regarding the scandal in the "Qarabag" - "Sabah" match of the XXII round of the Misli Premier League:
On March 1, 2026, in the XXII round of the Misli Premier League, in the "Qarabag" - "Sabah" match, the coach of the "Sabah" team, Valerio Zuddas, should not be allowed to play for 7 games for making an unethical gesture to the opponent's reserve bench, and the "Sabah" team should be fined 15,000 manats (Article 52.4)
On March 1, 2026, in the XXII round of the Misli Premier League, in the "Qarabag" - "Sabah" match, the coach of the "Qarabag" team, Mushfig Huseynov, should not be allowed to play for 6 games for participating in a mass brawl, and the "Qarabag" team should be fined 6,000 manats (Article 48.2);
On March 1, 2026, in the XXII round of the Misli Premier League, in the "Qarabag" - "Sabah" match, the coach of the "Qarabag" team, Zaur Taghizadeh, should not be allowed to play for 6 games for participating in a mass brawl, and the "Qarabag" team should be fined 6,000 manats (Article 48.2);
