Penalties Announced for Galatasaray Players Involved in Betting

The penalties for the football players, announced by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) to have been involved in betting, have been revealed. Sport24.az reports that the Professional Football Disciplinary Committee has made a decision regarding two "Galatasaray" players.

 

Left-back Eren Elmalı has been banned from football for 45 days. Central defender Metehat Baltacı was sentenced to 9 months.

 

It should be noted that the TFF announced that 1024 football players were involved in betting.
