Spanish midfielder Pedro has announced that he will leave Lazio at the end of the current season. Sport24.az reports that the experienced player said the following in his statement:
"I have always tried to help my team. This season will be my last year at Lazio, but I want to leave the club by qualifying for European cups. We still have the opportunity to grow and fight for higher places. I don't know how many more years I will play, but I try to get the most out of every training session. As time goes by, I get one step closer to the end of my career."
Thus, with his statement, Pedro has signaled to both Lazio fans and the football community that he is approaching the end of his career.
It should be noted that the 38-year-old footballer has been wearing the uniform of the Rome representative since 2021. He has previously played for clubs such as Barcelona, Chelsea, and Roma.
