Paulo Fonseca, former coach of Shakhtar and current head coach of Lyon, spoke about his meeting with Arda Turan, the current coach of the Donetsk club. He made a statement to the ua.tribuna.com portal about this:
"Yes, I spoke with him. You know that Vitali Khlivnyuk is one of my best friends. When I have the opportunity to see him, I go. When I came to the game with Servette, Vitali invited me to meet Turan. We had a short conversation and I think he is a very good and humble person. Of course, he is not in an easy situation. This is different from when I worked at Shakhtar. But Arda is doing a fantastic job in the team. I was very happy to meet and talk to him."
It should be noted that Shakhtar, led by Arda Turan, is currently the leader of the Ukrainian championship.
