Monaco midfielder Paul Pogba spoke about his return to the field after a long break in the match against Rennes in the 13th round of the French Ligue 1.

"Football is not over for me. We worked hard, waited more than two years to return... Despite everything that happened, the history outside of football. I suffered a lot and looked forward to it. I have always kept my hope," RMC Sport quotes Pogba as saying.
The footballer has not played in an official match for 811 days. Pogba has recovered from a long-term injury and the match against Rennes was his first game for Monaco. His last appearance was in September 2023, when he played 28 minutes against Empoli for Juventus.
