Former French national football team player Patrice Evra admitted to threatening Carlos Tevez, who moved to Manchester City.
Idman.Biz reports that Patrice Evra stated this in his press statement many years later.
"I called him and said, 'Carlito, I'm going to kill you, I'm going to break your legs!' It was very difficult. It's hard to accept such a thing. But I think it was kind of revenge against Alex Ferguson. That's why I was disappointed. Anyway, we'll never know the whole truth. But we paid a high price for it. If Tevez hadn't signed a contract with Manchester City, I don't think they would have started becoming champions. I felt betrayed, but he's still my brother. You have to respect his choice," said Carlos Tevez.
It should be noted that Patrice Evra officially ended his professional football career in 2019. He played alongside the former Argentine at Manchester United for a while.
