The Brazilian team took the lead in the 49th minute after Wessam Abu Ali scored an own goal, and Jose Lopes increased the lead in the 59th minute.
In the 62nd minute, the game was stopped due to a hurricane threat, and fans were offered to leave the arena and find shelter. The match resumed after 40 minutes.
"Palmeiras" leads Group A with four points. "Al-Ahli" is in fourth place with one point. In the final match of the group, the Brazilian team will face "Inter Miami" on June 24, while "Al-Ahli" will face "Porto" on the same day.
