The Azerbaijan national women's U-19 football team visited the Victory Museum. According to Sport24.az, the main purpose of the visit was to strengthen the spirit of patriotism in the team members, to inform young football players more comprehensively about the historical path of victory of our country, and to increase their commitment to national values.
The exhibits displayed in the museum, interactive corners reflecting the chronicle of heroism, and historical facts were met with great interest by the athletes. The team members had the opportunity to once again remember the Road to Victory, which is of particular importance in the modern history of Azerbaijan.
Zumrud Aghayeva, the head of the AFFA women's football department, stated that strengthening the love of homeland, the sense of responsibility, and the determination to keep the name of Azerbaijan high in every national team member is one of the main priorities.
Habib Aghayev, the head coach of our team, emphasized that such visits have a positive impact on both the spiritual development and the sports motivation of young football players.
It should be noted that our U-19 women's national team will participate in the qualifying round of the European Championship in Strumitsa, North Macedonia from November 22 to December 2. Our national team, which is in the 5th group of League B, will compete with the corresponding age group teams of Slovenia, North Macedonia and Georgia.
