Our referees safely returned home

Azerbaijani FIFA referee Aliyar Aghayev and FIFA VAR referee Nijat Ismayilli were unable to return to Azerbaijan from Kuwait for some time due to the military tension in the Middle East. Sport24.az reports that our referees have safely returned home today.


The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) expressed its gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kuwait for their support during the situation.
