Azerbaijani FIFA referee Aliyar Aghayev and FIFA VAR referee Nijat Ismayilli were unable to return to Azerbaijan from Kuwait for some time due to military tensions in the Middle East.
The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) told "Report" that our referees have safely returned home today.
AFFA expressed its gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kuwait for their support during the situation.
